Ann
Sartwell graduated with honors from the University of
Tennessee's College of Law in 1996, where, in cooperation
with the Clayton Center for Entrepreneurial Law, she
authored "Braving the Waters," a start-up
guide for would-be entrepreneurs. A native Oregonian,
she is a cum laude 1988 graduate of Rhodes College,
Memphis, Tennessee, with a major in International Studies.
While at Rhodes, she was a Bellingrath Scholar and the
recipient of the Kellogg Foundation Food for Thought
Scholarship, studying rural economic development in
India. She formerly chaired the Board of Directors at
the Wesley Foundation at the University of Tennessee
and the Board of Trustees at Central United Methodist
Church. She is a member of the Knoxville, Tennessee,
and American Bar Associations and her practice is focused
on employment and labor law. |
