Adam G. Russell focuses his broad practice on litigating civil matters and employment-related disputes.  His practice areas are Litigation and Employment and Labor.  He is a dedicated, hard-working trial lawyer who places great importance on the relationships he builds with his clients.  Mr. Russell is adept at interpreting the law as it applies to the facts presented and conveying that information to his client in plain, understandable terms.  He takes the time to really understand his clients' needs and legal goals and can assist clients with virtually any legal dispute or transaction they face.  Mr. Russell strives to respond to his clients' requests and questions promptly.
 
Before joining Kramer Rayson LLP, Mr. Russell worked for a large defense firm where he defended both large and small companies in the areas of workers' compensation and premises liability.  
 
His litigation practice includes representing both individuals and companies in all areas of civil litigation.  Mr. Russell manages all phases of the litigation process from investigation, discovery, and pleadings, to pre-trial, trial, settlement, and appeal.  Mr. Russell has tried numerous cases in counties throughout East Tennessee.
 
His Employment and Labor practice includes counseling employers and employees in all aspects of the employment relationship, from hiring through termination,  Specifically, Mr. Russell counsels employers with regards to allegations of:
 
Mr. Russell also represents employees who have been wrongfully discharged and subjected to a hostile working environment.  Representing both employers and employees has made Mr. Russell an outstanding advocate for his client by giving him the ability to foresee and quickly address issues that arise on both sides of the case.
 
Representative Cases
 
Blair v Wyndahm Vacation Ownership, Inc.  Mr. Russell recently represented a client against whom a large judgment was awarded in trial court.  Subsequently, Mr. Russell was able to appeal the award and get it reduced by two-thirds.
