Don Leake attended The University of Tennessee, where he received his undergraduate degree and his law degree. After service in the U.S. Army in Europe, he returned to Knoxville and joined the firm in 1964. His practice has been diversified in that he has extensive trial experience in personal injury litigation, commercial litigation, and general liability defense, while also being active in corporate and commercial business matters.
Mr. Leake was a member of the Board of Trustees at The University of Tennessee (1989-1995) and is a Fellow of the Tennessee Bar Foundation. He has served on the Board of Governors for the Knox County Bar Association and for the Knoxville Chamber of Commerce Board. He also has served as Chairman of the Liaison Board for The University of Tennessee Medical Center (1993-1995) and has served as Chairman of the Knox County Community Health Board (1991-1993). He is an experienced mediator and a member of the American, Tennessee, and Knoxville Bar Associations. In September 2009, he was named in City View as a Top Attorney in Mediation. |
