Hugh Morgan graduated from the U.S. Military Academy in 1958 and served in the U.S. Army for six years. He graduated from The University of Tennessee College of Law in 1967. While in law school, he was a member of The Tennessee Law Review. He is a member of several honorary societies including Phi Kappa Phi and The Order of the Coif. Since joining the firm in 1967, he has enjoyed a diverse practice, including both litigation and commercial matters. Mr. Morgan has considerable litigation experience in state and federal courts, including cases involving negligence, premises liability, products liability, construction industry disputes, trade secret disputes, non-competition contract disputes, and complex estate litigation. He also has experience drafting and negotiating contracts, negotiating and closing commercial transactions, and representing parties in mergers and acquisitions. He is on the Mediation Panel of the U.S. District Court for the Eastern District of Tennessee. Mr. Morgan is an officer and member of the
