Robert A. Crawford is a member of the firm and currently chairs its litigation section.  His primary areas of practice include civil litigation, insurance coverage, construction litigation, products liability and serious personal injury matters.  Mr. Crawford was named a Top Attorney for Insurance Litigation by City View for 2010 and 2011.

Mr. Crawford graduated from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill in 1971 and obtained his law degree from the University of Tennessee in 1974.  He served in the USAFR/JAG from 1974 to 1981.  In his 37 year legal career he has tried more than 100 civil jury trials in state and federal courts.  He has been a member of the firm since 2000.  He is licensed to practice law in Tennessee and Florida.  

Mr. Crawford is a member of the Tennessee, Knoxville and American Bar Associations.  He is a member of the Defense Research Institute and an emeritus member of the American Inns of Court, Hamilton Burnett Chapter.  He is currently serving as President of the Tennessee Defense Lawyers Association.  He is AV rated by Martindale-Hubbell and is a Fellow of the Knoxville Bar Foundation.  He is an Elder at Sequoyah Hills Presbyterian Church and serves on the Board of Directors of the Knoxville Downtown Rotary Club.
