Tom Hale attended The University of Tennessee where he obtained both his Master's of Business Administration and Juris Doctorate degrees in 1980.
Mr. Hale works in a variety of areas of the law, including litigation of all types of civil cases in both the federal and state courts throughout East Tennessee, with a particular emphasis on business-related disputes in the contract, corporate, employment and environmental areas. He provides general commercial advice to local and national businesses and represents parties in transactions involving sales of business interests and sales and leases of commercial realty.
Mr. Hale is a Past President of the Knoxville Bar Association and has served as Vice-Chancellor of the Episcopal Diocese of East Tennessee, Associate General Counsel to the Tennessee Bar Association.
Mr. Hale currently acts as the Town Attorney for the Town of Farragut. He is a fellow in the Tennessee Bar Foundation and currently the Chairman of the Board of Directors and president of the Knoxville Bar Foundation. In September 2009, City View named him as a Top Attorney in Corporate Law.
