Marc Upchurch has been in Business Management and Finance since 1983. Marc serves as the Executive Director at Kramer Rayson LLP. Marc was licensed as a Certified Public Accountant (CPA) in 1985 and as a Certified Legal Manager in 2003. Prior to joining Kramer Rayson, he held executive management positions ranging from Chief Financial Officer to President with various private companies for 10 years and spent 7 years in the general practice group at the Knoxville office of Coopers & Lybrand, CPAs, currently PriceWaterhouseCoopers. He graduated from the University of Tennessee in 1983 with a BS in Business Administration and earned his CPA license in 1985.
Marc is the President-Elect and a board member of the Knoxville Chapter of the Association of Legal Administrators (KALA) where he has been a member since 1999. He served as its President-Elect in 2001, President in 2002 and on the Board in 2003 and 2004. Marc also serves on the Executive Committee and is a member of the Board of Governors of Club Leconte. He is a member of the Knoxville Chapters of the Tennessee Society of CPAs, the American Institute of CPAs, the Financial Management Association, the Tennessee Valley Employee Benefits Council and the International Association of Legal Administrators (ALA). Marc served on the Association Nominating Committee for the ALA in 2003 and was elected to the Board of Directors of the ALA in November 2004 and served on its board from May 2004 through May 2009.
