Shannon Coleman graduated
summa cum laude from Lincoln Memorial University in 1996.
Ms. Coleman later attended the University of Tennessee College
of Law where she was the recipient of the Howard H. Baker Memorial
Scholarship. While in law school Ms. Coleman was a staff writer
for Transactions: The Tennessee Journal of Business Law and was
a member of various organizations, including the Business and
Tax Law Association, Law Women, the Law and Medicine Society and
Phi Delta Phi. Since 2003, Ms. Coleman has been an adjunct Professor
of Law at the University of Tennessee College of Law, teaching
students in the representation of entities. Additionally, Ms. Coleman
has made numerous presentations at continuing education seminars
and other functions. Her primary areas of practice include mergers,
acquisitions and business transactions, business planning, health care
law, and real estate transactions. She is a member of the Knoxville,
Tennessee and American Bar Associations and the American Health Lawyers
Association. |
