Steve
Kramer joined the firm in 2002 after having served
as Vice President of Human Resources and General
Counsel for AFG Industries Inc. from 1990-2002.
Prior to joining AFG, Mr. Kramer spent 10 years
in the private practice of law. Mr.
Kramer holds an undergraduate degree in business
administration from Miami University in Oxford,
Ohio. He received his M.B.A. (finance) from the
University of Southwestern Louisiana and his J.D.
from the University of Tennessee College of Law.
Mr. Kramer's law practice principally involves
Employment and Labor Law, Corporate Law, and Sports
Law.
He is a member of the Knoxville, Kingsport, Tennessee,
and American Bar Associations. Mr. Kramer is a
member of the Regional Board of Directors for
First Tennessee Bank. He served as Chairman of
the Kingsport Economic Development Board from
1995-2005 and is a member of the Board of Directors
for the Northeast State Technical Community College
Foundation and the Boys & Girls Club. Steve
and his wife, Tina, have three children. Steve
has been recognized by "Best Laywers in America"
and as a leading employment lawyer in Tennessee
by Chambers USA, The Client's Guide.
