Robert A. Crawford

Robert A. Crawford joined the firm in 2000.  His primary areas of practice include civil litigation, insurance coverage, construction litigation, products liability and serious personal injury matters.  Mr. Crawford has been named a Top Attorney for Insurance Litigation by City View since 2010.  He was named Lawyer of the Year for Insurance Law in Knoxville by Best Lawyers for 2015.

Mr. Crawford graduated from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill in 1971 and obtained his law degree from the University of Tennessee in 1974.  He served in the USAFR/JAG from 1974 to 1981.  In his 41 year legal career he has tried more than 100 civil jury trials in state and federal courts.  He has been a member of the firm since 2000.  He is licensed to practice law in Tennessee and Florida.  

Mr. Crawford is a member of the Tennessee, Knoxville and American Bar Associations.  He is a member of the Defense Research Institute, an emeritus member of the American Inns of Court, Hamilton Burnett Chapter and a member of the American Board of Trial Advocates.  He was President of the Tennessee Defense Lawyers Association from 2011 to 2012.  He is AV rated by Martindale-Hubbell and is a Fellow of the Knoxville Bar Foundation.  He is an Elder at Sequoyah Hills Presbyterian Church and a member of the Knoxville Downtown Rotary Club.
